Final Summation

The whole point of this task was to recognise the everyday passerby, to take interest in their individuality, even if that did mean just taking their portrait. We found ourselves talking to random people all over Liverpool, sometimes it was just for a minute or two, on other occasions we spent 15-30  minutes telling each other our life stories. A few people thought we were a little crazy, but many laughed and respected what we were doing.
We found that women were more likely to reject us. On one occasion, we approached an old couple and asked for their photograph. The husband was 100% up for it, the wife however quickly changed his mind.
It was also found, that people who were smiling, were much more willing to have their picture taken, than those who were, well...  not smiling. All of the 100 strangers were definitely the nicest of the people we asked, most found it amusing. Over the course of the day, we must have been rejected about 15-20 times. Liverpool is definitely a great place to meet some random people, and I would definitely suggest you to try it sometime.
